Back in Cumbaya
Hello everyone! This will be just a quick post to let everyone know that we're back after our time in Santo Domingo and a quick trip to the coast. Sorry it's been a while since the last post. We have quite a bit to catch up on and quite a few pictures to put on. These pictures are from before our time in Santo Domingo. The first picture is was taken up Chota way, and is a picture of the sugar cane fields. The next picture is of us up at the Panecillo in Quito. The next one is of William and German, a neighbor's dad-at their birthday celebration. The last one here was taken on the side of Ilalo, overy by Tingo and is the last picture of the Evans' time here. To finish, I have some words from Scripture to share (I'm going to begin putting in a few favorite passages from Colossians, one of my favorite books of the Bible.)
Colossians 1:15-20-"He (Jesus) is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy. For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him, and through him to reconcile himself to all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross."
